Amend The Smoking Ban
As 20% of the population has been told that their presence is not tolerated - surely this adversely affects the Big Society drive and community cohesion?
Even now 25 pubs a week shut - would not a relaxation of the smoking ban show that we can ditch some intolerances for the sake of getting along with each other? I used to go out and meet strangers and get along with them - now I do not, according to the statistics I am a typical smoker in this regard.
How many helpers do you want to lose because we feel disenfranchised from the community?
