Limit liability for Members of Clubs/Associations

Additional Information

We want the government to bring in legislation to limit the liability of members of clubs and associations that are not limited companies.

Members of unincorporated associations currently have an unlimited liability for the debts of their association and we believe that this is inherently unfair and will stop people joining such associations as and when this becomes better known.

We propose that liability is set to £1 and that the government introduce a set of qualifying conditions to ensure that the protection is not abused.
