Petition Action

The Monopoly of Water Providors and Our Right to Choice

Additional Information

With the ever increasing need for the consumer to enjoy the freedom of choice for all utility providers, we must have OFWAT and the Water Boards brought before the ‘Monopolies and Mergers Commission’ as the people have no choice or options with these Utility providers.
It is not in the interest of the people not to have a reduced annual bill, when ‘Hose Pipe Bans’ are enforced, with a reduction of service. It is also not in the interest of the people to have their rights of choice withheld by a clear monopoly.
A demand a reading in the House for the abolition of this monopoly and the freedom of every household to choose which utility company provides their water service. This practise has served us well with the Electricity, Gas, Phone and Broadband markets.
Please sign to end this flagrant corruption.
