Petition Action

Queen's Payrise

Additional Information

During this period of change and the austerity measures this country is facing, which are being forced upon us by HM Government, we find it abhorrent that the Queen is to receive another £6m from the public purse. Poor people are being forced into paying 'bedroom tax', having benefits either reduced or removed completely and are being forced into using food-banks to survive.

We the undersigned petition the government to recover this £6m and use it to assist the poorer element that are at present being forced out of their homes and onto the street through no fault of their own.
