Petition Action

David Cameron and Alex Salmond to have a Scottish Independence Referendum Debate

Additional Information

Petition for the First Minister of Scotland and the Prime Minister to have a live debate on the issue of Scottish Independence.

David Cameron has refused calls for a debate between the two on the subject.

This is the most important referendum in the history of the UK. At stake is the break up of the UK. As such it is only fit that the Prime Minister should put forward the case for the UK and the First Minister of Scotland should put forward the case for Indpendence.

A debate of this nature would give the people of Scotland the chance to make an informed decision on the future of the UK and Scotland.
