Better Mental Health Services for young people
More funding and services for young people with mental illness.
The Government have cut funding in many mental health services and charities for young people, across England.
There wasn't enough services and help in the first place, and this current government made a pledge when they first came into power, and since, to put more money into young peoples mental health services.
This has not happened, what has happened, is the opposite.
Thousands of children and young people are having to wait months to receive treatment for a range of mental health illness' which can be detrimental to their health, the health of their family, friends, and their ability to function in their lives.
Mental health issues, if not treated, can lead to very restricted lives, inability to access education, work, can lead to other health problems, sometimes crime, and even death.
This is a very serious subject, and something needs to be done to improve the situation for young people up to 23.
