Petition Action

£66 pensions for working mothers?

Additional Information

Despite paying tax for working 40 years, not enough National Insurance stamps raised in this time (due to Margaret Thatchers policies for working mothers) means we only get £66 per week Pension. This is less than imigrants and so called benefits to the poor. Paying Tax all these years should count more than people who have not worked at all and payed nothing at all into the pot.
