In a modern time of acknowledging our role to provide fairly "Everyone Matters", using the financial assets/budget to its best ability, I challenge the Government that they might take it upon themselves and their members, and all those who have authorised and wish for a State Funeral at the cost of £8 million to the nation for Margaret Thatcher - that it will raise funds via personal donation to tackle the cost.
In a time of recession and talk of triple dip, it is unfair to place the burden of this cost upon the taxpayer. As in any family, those who organise the funeral, pay for it. I feel sure that the joint wealth of all those who feel a State Funeral is a necessary action would be delighted to contribute.
Be "Challenging, Appreciative, Collaborative and Open".
