Are wind turbines effective in helping towards the climate change targets?
Wind turbines are the most inefficient producers of renewable energy but receive a disproportionately large subsidy. Would this subsidy be better spent on other forms of renewable energy that help create UK jobs and not destroy them? Other forms of renewable energy do not destroy the landscape that they are supposed to be saving. Is it right to destroy that which you wish to save?
