Petition Action

Keep F1 FREE to all

Additional Information

Today it was announced that the BBC have sold off half their commitment to F1 meaning us Licence fee payers who fund the BBC are getting less for our money.

Most of us have grown up watching Formula 1 on T.V and it has grown and grown, Look at the damage SKY have done to other Sports i.e Football, Boxing, Cricket and others, yes they flourish financially as a sport but they do not give our younger generations the access they deserve.
Remember when we were young we knew who the World heavyweight Boxing champions were Eubank, Bruno etc
Cricket remember Botham and co
Football we all watched it on a Saturday afternoon, now it is a selective sport watched by the wealthy.
Selling off of our favorite T.V programs must stop and the monopolies commission should be investigating this
BBC can not afford to pay then let ITV, Chan 4 or Chanl 5 take half the races so us fans can continue to watch a great sport for FREE.
Full F1 season it will cost us fans £504, this is should not be allowed
