Scotland should repay all subsidies paid under the Barnett Formula if it votes for independence from the United Kingdom
Scotland has enjoyed ever since 1979 considerable financial advantage for its people by virtue of the Barnett Formula to the disadvantage of the people of England.
If Scotland now decides to remove itself from the United Kingdom in the 2014 referendum it should be a condition of Scotland's exit that all subsidies received under the Barnet Formula be repaid to cover the cost of that exit from falling on the United Kingdom taxpayers.
