Petition Action

Abolish the Instagram Act

Additional Information

An act is being passed that is allowing ANYONE to take any work you have made (original content) without any consequences and claiming it for themselves. Artist's work will be exploited and they won't be able to do anything about it. We need to prevent this from happening. It will discourage people to create original content in the future and is genuinely unfair on people who spend a lot of time and effort creating work.

"Amateur and professional illustrators and photographers alike will find themselves ensnared by the changes, the result of lobbying by Silicon Valley and radical bureaucrats and academics. The changes are enacted in the sprawling Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act which received Royal Assent last week, and it marks a huge shift in power away from citizens and towards large US corporations."

Please help us out! We need to prevent this from happening!
