Bank Rate = 0.5% - Reduce the Banks Charging 29.9% on Credit cards and Loans.
It is logical to reduce the interest rate to countries such as Ireland, Greece and Portugal enabling them to pay there debts.
When the Base Rate is 0.5% should not the same apply to the British Public.
Banks should not be allowed to charge above 6% - 8% for existing loans.
The Banks continually mismanage our money, they lose money everywhere and the poor old British Public get charged. Its about time Banks become responsible and not be allowed to encourage people into debt
