Stop using Unemployment as a Continuation of Punishment - Reform of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

Additional Information

The findings from the 2013 research entitled, 'Nothing to Declare' (Barlow and Barnett, 2013) demonstrate that Employers in East Lancashire, agree that is
'"is in no-ones interest for unemployment to be used as a continuation of punishment".

The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 must be amended to bring all determinate sentences within it's scope, immediately and retrospectively.
