Repeal 2006 legislation for limited companies
Change the 2006 legislation that allows builders to walk away from defective construction work, close their current company and open another company in a different name, leaving consumers in financial ruin and with uninhabitable homes. As the builder is registered as a limited company the consumer has no hope of getting any compensation so is left with huge bills to remedy the builders poor workmanship.
The government must legislate to end this anomaly.
