Save Batley Central Daycare
• We the undersigned, petition Kirklees Council that Batley Central Daycare is both viable and sustainable.
• The report suggesting closure of Batley Central Daycare to be considered in the scrutiny meeting on 21st May does not show clear and precise evidence that all potential solutions to keep the nursery open and sustainable have been considered.
• There has been no consultation with the parent group or staff at Batley Central Daycare.
• The timescale for the closure is completely unreasonable and considers only financial gain.
• Batley Central Daycare is an essential resource to the community and should NOT be considered for closure.
