Petition Action

Save Services For Disabled Children and Young People

Additional Information

Our organisations’ principal aim is to enable and encourage disabled young peoples’ participation in the social, leisure and educational activities of their choice.
We work with young people who have a diversity of needs and have developed a team of people who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field.
We receive £28,000 from the Scottish Government as a core fund to our organisation every year since 1991, except this year.
We use this funding in order for our Charity to provide services to disabled children and young people in order for them to participate in social and leisure activities.
This money allows us to add on many exciting, innovative and sustainable projects and programmes for everyone to enjoy.
We want the Scottish Government to realise that without the core funding to our organisation, we cannot provide these services to disabled children and young people and how big the implications are to hundreds of families.
