The Ombudsman to be open and transparent and independent
The Ombudsman service should be totally independent and there should also be a complaints service that is also indpendent from them . I would also like to see that they are transparent in dealing with cases . It feels that if you bring a complaint to the Ombudsman service that you are in the wrong and are treated as such . I would also like them to put things in black and white rather than telephone conversations that change as soon as you put the phone down
