Petition Action

Oxford child groom case

Additional Information

I call upon the government to sack the Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police, Sara Thornton and the head of Oxford County Council, Joanna Simon for their gross negligence in the Oxford child grooming case.
Children that they should have protected were abused for eight years between 2004 and 2012. This was not a mistake on their part but a gross dereliction of duty over many years. They knew the abuse was happening and chose not to act. They are not fit to hold high public office and should be removed as they do not have the integrity to resign.
