We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the House of Commons holds a full and thorough debate in respect of the following issue:

How does Mr Altaf Hussain using the United Kingdom as a base from which to run a political party in a country he has chosen to absent himself from uphold the following responsibilities & targets of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office:

•helping to build a stable and increasingly prosperous Pakistan
•coordinating a UK government contribution to conflict prevention and supporting conflict resolution in fragile states?
