It is all too easy for burglars to break into citizen's houses , steal their jewellry ,then quickly dispose of this via 'Cash For Gold' envelopes. No questions are asked by the companies running these schemes and victims could have had their property sent away and melted down even before they have discovered its loss. The police agree that this practice makes life very easy for jewellry thieves.
