Replace the High Speed Rail Link with energy infrastructure investment, this will create the jobs and potential growth that you would get from the rail link but with safe guarding our future energy needs, plus it will create the basis for many companies to invest in the technology to bring cleaner energy to the general public. This infrastructure can be developed without increasing house hold bills; then sold to the energy companies (at a potential profit)
