To consider reducing the number of MP's to a number more relevant to the total UK electorate.
In the light of the current general financial restraints affecting all sectors in the UK, coupled with the recent salary increase demand by MP's of up to £20,000, it is time for Parliament to seriously debate the need for up to 650 Members to represent the electorate of the UK. A comparison with similar democracies throughout the world based on electoral sizes, suggests the UK's should be reduced by up to a half.
