Limit Public Sector and MPs pensions
Pass legislation to limit the pensions for public sector employees to a multiple - 2 times is suggested - of the UK National Average wage, so 50,000 maximum. This to also apply to MPs. Though it may be said to go against natural justice, make this effective for any public sector employee or MP reaching normal retirement age (65) 5 or more years after the legislation is passed (so people have some time to plan). Public sector to include central government civil servants, local council employees, university employees and employees of all bodies that receive more than 25% of their funding from central government and/or the UK taxpayer. At the same time, remove the inflation proofing element so that public servants are treated the same as the people that they serve.
