Petition Action

European Union Article 50 - Lisbon treaty

Additional Information

That we the subjects of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2, residing in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
Do hereby require Her Majesty's government to invoke article 50 of the Lisbon treaty.
We require this action to be commenced without the need to seek any form of renegotiation with the European Union that would be deemed UK specific and thereby causing delay.
And done so to enable an orderly and speedy withdrawal from the said union within 2 years from the date of notification to the said body.
That agreement shall be negotiated in accordance with Article 218(3) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
This will include a full repatriation of all sovereign powers, financial controls, and the removal of any obligation on the UK to contribute to the EU.
Further we the people do require the Government to regain control of the borders of the United Kingdom with immediate effect until a referendum is granted to the people.
