Petition Action

Outlaw The Preaching of Hatism or Hatrid in Britain.

Additional Information

In order that the death of Drummer Lee Rigby should not have been in vain and in order to prevent any more deaths like his, we hereby petition the Government to outlaw the preaching of hatred (henceforth known as 'hatism') in any form against our fellow citizens.

"Preaching of hatred" to be closely defined but in broad terms it is where messages are broadcast that incite others to commit harm and violence (physical or verbal) against others in such a manner as to create fear amongst the general population.

Any breach of such law should be met with the most severe sentence to serve as a deterrent.

Britain is a peaceful and tolerant nation and we wish it to remain so.

Reporting of those of break the law should be restricted to 20 second soundbites on radio, television or internet or 200 words in print and social media pages that preach hate must be made illegal.
