Petition Action

Award "The 3 Angels of Woolwich" The Queen's Gallantry Medal

Additional Information

British Soldier, Hero and innocent victim Drummer Lee Rigby tragically lost his life in an unprovoked attack in Woolwich, South London.

Amanda Donnelly, her daughter Gemini Donnelly-Martin and Ingrid Loyau-Kennett have been dubbed "The 3 Angels of Woolwich" for their bravery in comforting Mr Rigby and confronting his killers in what was a senseless and unprovoked attack.

The Facebook page "The 3 Angels of Woolwich Deserve a Commendation And A Nation's Thank You" asks that these three heroines should be awarded The Queen's Gallantry Award. And does this petition.

Although the three women have dismissed their actions as brave, a lot of people beg to differ, and feel that they should be commended for what they selflessly did.
