Petition Action

To make it compulsory for high street bookmakers to have 2 members of staff present during opening hours

Additional Information

To Properly regulate the betting industry in regard to staff, to acknowledge that staff have a right not to work in fear , alone , at any time of the day.
"Single manning" should be outlawed as a work practice, that a shop should be closed if 2 members of staff are not available.
There should be no "opt in" to any single manning policy so bookmakers have no way of bullying staff into "opt in" schemes , making them over time, compulsory practice.
