Allow patients on palliative care to die with dignity
Patients on palliative care are 'made comfortable' with drugs and it is then left for nature to take its course. This can mean the patient lingering for days and even starving to death.
This inhumane treatment must be reviewed and the government must allow the family to be given a say about how their loved one is treated.
With an ever increasing aged population and reduced funds for carers this is becoming a crisis.
