Parents right to choose their childrens education not by postcode
Why are school places being given by postcode/ distance and some towns are being split into catchment areas.
Parents should have the right to pick which school thier child goes to not an admissions department who has never met that child or knows thier individual needs.
'Baby Boom' years and building more houses are major problems for schools already filled to bursting point.
As there are limited school places then extend existing schools or build new schools to meet the demand.
All any parent wants is the right to choose a good standard of education for their children in a safe environment.
