Turn the National Rail Museum into a public trust
To preserve a monument to British Railways, turn the National Rail Museum into a public trust, free to visit, but able to get funding from the public and industry.
The trusts board should have a cross party makeup such as Pete Waterman and also expand to include new locomotives and more locomotives back in running order.
The trust should also help small preservation society's keep going.
