Bedroom tax - private renters and where are people supposed to find one bedroomed properties
Private renters are already having to pay over the odds to live in a home. The number of people in the property should not be included in the assessment for housing benefit to those who are in the private renting sector, particularly if they are in receipt of Incapacity Benefit. There are not enough one bedroomed properties available for private or council tenants to move to making this tax just as it says - a way to make money. not solve housing problems.
