Need for Legal or Advisory Definition of Word 'Healthy' & 'Healthy Meals'
UK needs a legal definition of 'healthy' or at least an advisory definition (such as FSA advice on vegetarian & vegan foods) to economically deter misleading claims from retailers, manufacturers & advertisers (for example claiming meat and chips is a 'healthy meal for kids' April 2012 to June 2013) with financial impunity. This would at least provide UK Trading Standards officers with a little more incentive to protect the consumer, if not the resources.
