Issue instructions to prevent local councils from taking any more council taxpayer pounds to fund council pension schemes.

It is a gross immorality for monies to be taken from council tax paid by residents being squeezed by government cuts and council funding reductions merely to place it in a fund to increase the already gold plated and ludicrously huge pension pots of highly placed council officials. THERE MUST BE AN IMMEDIATE AND OBLIGATORY FREEZE, FOR THE DURATION OF GOVERNMENT AUSTERITY MEASURES, ON COUNCILS TAKING ANY COUNCIL TAX FOR PENSION PURPOSES AND ALL THE MONEY SHOULD BE SPENT ON PROVIDING LOCAL SERVICES - WHICH IS WHAT COUNCIL TAX IS INTENDED FOR ANYWAY.
