Petition Action

That the Department strongly considers the use of Thorium based nuclear reactors. For generation of electricity

Additional Information

Thorium reactors burn up dangerous waste such as plutonium, their own waste is measured in hundreds rather than millions of years. In the case of a Fukushime type problem, the reactors automatically shut down. They do NOT produce weapons grade by-products but can produce electricity effectively. Result!
