Change the law to compel the BBC to include a statement 'this expenditure is the equivalent of 'xx' licence fees' when paying off staff.
The BBC disburses compensation and severance payments in such huge amounts that the numbers mean nothing to people on the street. Those people would have a greater understanding of how much of their money is being handed over if it includes the statement in licence tax equivalents. Only then might the people be empowered to do something about it.
