The idea of compassion to be taught in schools as a core subject
Compassion for at least two hours per week allocated for all years through Primary, Junior, Secondary schooling.
All pupils to be shown the benefits of caring for others, ways this can be done, and practical activities to demonstrate it's effectiveness.
When we develop care and concern by thinking of others not as ‘them’ but ‘us’, there is no room for bullying, exploitation or deceit.
