Police Officers must be given the right to strike.
The police minister has acknowledged that police morale is at an all time low. This is partly because pay and pensions have been slashed but also because budget cuts have resulted in many more police officers being attacked on a daily basis. In these circumstances police officers must be give the fundamental right to strike with legislation passed accordingly..
