THERE IS NO ISSUE OVER SCHOOL MEALS FOR THOSE ABLE TO OBTAIN THEM FREE OF CHARGE, BUT THERE IS A REAL HARDSHIP, LET ALONE INJUSTICE TO THE MAJORITY WHO CAN NOT GET THAT BENEFIT.
THE PROPOSED ABOLITION OF 'PACKED LUNCHES' PROVIDED BY PARENTS IS UNJUST. RESPONSIBLE, WORKING PARENTS TAKE INTO ACCOUNT WHAT THE CHILD WILL EAT until AT LEAST TIE THEM OVER TO A POPER MEAL AT HOME LATER.
EITHER PROVIDE FREE MEALS BY REDUCING BENEFITS (SUCH AS 'FOREIGN AID') TO ALL, OR ALLOW HOME BROUGHT IN FOOD.
