£1 charge per trip for 'disabled' concessionary passes
As a tax payer I find it frustrating to pay for bus travel, and then view so-called 'disabled' persons 'running' for a bus, and then boarding and enjoying free travel- clearly expoiting both the system and tax payers money With spending cuts aplently , councils should incur a £1 per trip cost for these 'concessionary' pass holders, which would be more fair for genuine tax payers, and allow councils/ society to receive something back from certain sections that exploit the system.
