Income Tax to be paid on all DWP Benefits
Those who receive benefits should pay income tax. The benefits should be treated as unearned income in the same way as pensions and interest on savings are. National insurance contributions should also be paid. Those on benefits would then contribute to society in the same way as those in employment.
