Request for HM Government to give Alan Turing a posthumous pardon
The time has come to honour one of the United Kingdom's most intelligent and hard working contributors to the National Security of this Nation and for inventions and problem solving techniques which have been adopted by other Nations.
This true patriot deserves to be pardoned and fully recognised for his outstanding contribution to the advancement in computing and code breaking .
The Government should recognise that this patriot was cruelly punished for being a homosexual and by offering a posthumous pardon the Government will send a message to today's younger generation that the criminal code in the past was wrong and offer the youth of today a Hero to look up to who just happened to be a homosexual.
