we that have signed this epetition agree:

that it is now technologically possible through commercial progress for every citizen to vote directly on legislation by telecommunications;

that our competitive environment may allow periodioc commercial sponsorship of the entire cost of such a system;

that to test whether and how telecommunications may be trusted as a secure voting method that Members of Parliament who are not present in either House at the time of a vote should be allowed to use the telephone to vote on Bills before the House.
