Petition Action

Stop teachers from advising students on what GCSE and A-Level subjects to choose based on sexist stereotypes

Additional Information

The government should assess the reasons why teachers advise males and females to take particular subjects and not to take other subjects based on their gender. For example, females are widely discouraged by teachers from studying maths and science - as evident by the ratio of males to females in classes for these subjects.
