Petition Action

Stop GCSE requirements going up to get onto PGCE courses

Additional Information

It is not fair for the government to all of a sudden decide that they want the GCSE requirements to go up, especially for students currently aspiring to get onto a PGCE course after their degree. Current students studying a degree and to eventually get onto a PGCE course were told that they only need GCSE grades C in Maths, English and Science. Therefore, if the government want to higher the requirements they should do this for undergraduates who will be aware of the actual requirements.
