Stop the inhumane treatment of travellers on the Gibraltar border by the spanish authorities
In response to the violation of territorial waters by spanish vessels , travellers to and from Gibraltar are being delayed by as much as 7 hours by spanish authorities. In the words of the Mayor of La Linea , Gemma Araujo Morales this treatment is inhumane and unbecoming of a european demacratic government.
Temperatures in cars can reach in excess of 40C and can cause severe problems especially to the young and elderly.
This petition moves that pressure be brought to bear on the spanish government to stop this action now.
