Abolish or Cap Farming Subsidies

Additional Information

The cost of reimbursing Farmers when things go wrong is becoming unsustainable for us Tax payers.

Why is farming subsidies not capped or means tested ?

Why should a farmer qualify for subsidies and still own a big farm house and Range Rover not to mention the obligatory horse !

At the very least subsides should not be a cash "do what you want payment" but rather tokens or such for buying feed etc etc...Not for keeping horses or Big second car for the wife.

A shop keeper does not get help if he cant run his business efficiently - he would just have to go bankrupt
