amateur radio and auction websites
I am an amateur radio licence holder.
I am amazed that OFCOM allows radios that are not only capable of operating in amateur bands but across the radio spectrum to be sold on EBAY and other auction sites without any warning about licencing.
OFCOM states that the onus is on the importer of the goods if they come from outside the EU But how many people looking for cheap radios know or care about licencing. Yet those people who have paid for licences or worked hard for them have thier services affected.
I would like OFCOM to require all sellers of radio equipment available in the UK to state licence requirements.

This is a matter for Ofcom to decide on.
