That London Transport be Re-Created and Deregulation Reversed
De-regulation has not worked. The costs of Transport in London are spiralling out of control while the service is deteriorating. This should not come as a surprise since private companies have to make a profit and support multiple board level management structures and are thus cutting corners everywhere.
London Buses and the Tube should be under one central authority that actually runs the service, not merely monitors it and awards contracts.
