Petition Action

sub lieutenant Reginald Warneford

Additional Information

Sub Lieutenant Reginald Warneford, world war 1 pilot, first to shoot down a Zeppelin airship, died two weeks later in an air accident was awarded the Victoria Cross for his action.
Next year, the anniversery of the war there will be a memorial to all those who won the VC.
Except some idiot in government has decided the only people who will be on the memorial will only be those who were born in the UK.
Sub Lieutenant Warneford was born in India so it has been decided by said "IDIOT" that he will not be on the memorial.
Would like this decision to be reversed, Lieutenant Warneford should be included..
And the name of the particular idiot or idiots who decided to have his name excluded should be made public....
